Our family loves to watch a TV show called Spartan Ultimate Team Challenge.
On the show a group of five individuals run a muddy obstacle course that tests their strength, agility and teamwork. They belly crawl under barbed wire through the mud and up a slippery, inclined wall. Rarely does a team finish without major injury or bloodied faces.
It reminds me of a Christian race. Together we will get dirty, exhausted and probably hurt, even by one another. It will test our teamwork and perseverance. And to finish will take a never-quit attitude and a commitment to never leave a teammate behind.
It makes me wonder, what kind of warrior am I? Because our race is worth so much more than a TV title and some prize money.
