My husband and I could not be more different.
He balances our checkbook to the penny. I just check it online and kind of keep it within a five-dollar guesstimate. When we get home from a trip, Chad must unpack his suitcase right away. Me, I can live out of my bag for days. It really is amazing that he puts up with me.
But sixteen years of marriage have proven that our differences actually make us both better. Because of Chad, I’m more attentive to detail, outgoing and relational. But I make Chad more relaxed, spontaneous and tender.
Our marriage is far from perfect, but God has used our differences to balance each other out, smooth our rough edges and strengthen our character. Only God could know that the perfect man for me was the perfect opposite of me!
