Does your mind need a renovation?
Several years ago when we remodeled our house I invited a friend over and asked for his expert opinion.
But when he started staring at the ceiling, I knew something was wrong.
One of the major beams had been poorly repaired and wasn’t able to provide enough support — a point proven by the sagging floor upstairs.
Seeing those broken boards barely hanging on was like looking inside myself.
For years, I’d been expecting stability from a broken identity. Instead of a loved child of God, I felt like an unwanted daughter of a dad that walked away.
I needed God to tear out some of my old thought patterns and replace them with the stability of His truth. With God, I don’t have to be a victim of brokenness. Instead, I can walk in the wholeness of His victory!
