So, last week I had a pretty epic meltdown.

We are in the midst of a really trying season in our life. The stress just spilled over. I was crying and my husband Chad kept being logical. He gave me example after example of things to be encouraged by.

I should have felt better, but in the moment, I was just so irritated. Why didn’t he feel what I was feeling?

In my frustration, God reminded me that Chad’s hope, logic and clarity weren’t meant to hurt me but help me.

And suddenly, our differences weren’t a problem but a promise. I am so glad I will always have someone who can see a perspective I can’t. I just hope I can remember that the next time I have a meltdown.
