When my husband and I got married our wedding was far from extravagant.
We had a lovely church wedding and a wonderful reception. And despite all the stress and expense, it was truly the day of my dreams.
As perfect as it was, my dad couldn’t exactly give me a blank check when we started planning our big day. Revelation 19 describes the most extravagant wedding party ever. Called the Wedding Supper of the Lamb, God’s people will put on the wedding clothes we’ve been given to wear.
Our wedding clothes are the robes of Christ’s righteousness, and Jesus bought them with his death on the Cross. Our Heavenly Father spared no expense on the wedding that will celebrate our union with Christ.
He is indeed a good, good Father.
